HOW WE GOT HERE
In 2019, our founder started building the vision for a women's coworking space in Massachusetts with a pretty simple idea: a creative workspace dedicated to women, built with community at the core. She opened the doors in 2021. What she didnβt anticipate was how much she was about to learn.
Over the years, we watched hundreds of women build businesses from the ground up, and we had a front row seat to all of it. The wins, the pivots, the moments where someone got a referral from the woman sitting two desks over that completely changed the trajectory of her business. We watched founders land their first wholesale accounts, open their first retail locations, hire their first employees, and figure out what it actually meant to build something that lasted. We also watched a lot of really smart women struggle with things that nobody in the broader entrepreneurial world was talking about, because most of that content was built for founders trying to scale out of their market, not build deeply within it.
That gap is what LOCL Founders Co. is built around.
In 2026, our founder exited the physical space operations. She kept the brand, the audience, the years of insight and a very clear understanding of what women founders who are building locally actually need. (Spoiler: it was never just a desk.)
LOCL Founders Co. is the next chapter. Same belief, bigger reach. A national platform and resource hub for women entrepreneurs and creatives who are serious about building local-first businesses. Who know that referrals come from real relationships, not algorithms. And that real growth isn't based on vague promises like 7 figures by lunchtime.

I'm Rachael. Exited founder, capacity-aware business coach, and someone who accidentally built the most interesting business education of her life by opening a coworking space for women.
I started The Collective Co. in 2019 because I needed a place to work and connect with like-minded women. What I didn't expect were the thousands of conversations that came with it. Women founders sitting across from me talking about what was actually happening in their businesses. Not the Instagram version. The real version. The one where you're doing everything right and the money still isn't adding up the way it should.
I kept hearing the same patterns. Brilliant women leaking revenue through gaps they couldn't see. Building on strategies that didn't account for their actual capacity. Running businesses that were growing but not paying them what they were worth. And nobody was helping them see it.
That changed how I saw everything. And the craziest thing happened. Members started coming to me for advice. Asking how I was growing The Collective Co. and seeking help. Over time I slowly started coaching women on the side. We would talk about strategy, about identity, and about what happens when a founder finally gets clear on her numbers, her capacity, and the leader she actually needs to become. After three years of quietly coaching while running the space, I exited the coworking operations so I could step into coaching fully and transitioned The Collective Co. to LOCL Founders Co.
LFC is an extension of that work. The same belief that women founders deserve better resources, better conversations, and better strategy. Especially the ones building locally, where your reputation is your growth engine and your community is your competitive advantage.
