We're here for the founder who's serious about building, and honest about how it actually happens.

We are all about ambitious goals and businesses that last. What we also know, from six years of holding space for women entrepreneurs and watching them build, is that the path to those goals often looks different than what the online world promises. The opportunities that actually move things forward for most founders don't simply come from viral moments or perfectly optimized funnels. They come from a referral passed along by someone who believes in you, a conversation that shifts the way you're thinking, a person in your interconnected circle who becomes your most loyal advocate.

The online entrepreneurial world is full of incredible advice about scale and reach, and we're here for all of it. But we're also here to have the conversations that often get skipped. The ones about what it actually looks and feels like to build a business in a real place, with real people around you. The ones that celebrate where every entrepreneur starts. Those conversations are everything, and we're bringing them into the spotlight. Because the way the world talks about small businesses is overdue for a reframe. We're here to celebrate the real stories, real strategies, and honest wins of what it actually means to be a founder today. That's what LOCL Founders Co. is built around.

our story

Born from a women's coworking space. Built for everywhere.

LOCL Founders Co. grew out of six years of running a community-centered coworking space for women in a local hub in Massachusetts. What we learned there, about what local founders actually need and what was missing from the broader conversation, became the foundation for everything we're building here.

our mission

The founder ecosystem for women who build where they live

LOCL Founders Co. exists to give women entrepreneurs the honest resources, real conversations, and practical tools to build stronger businesses through the partners, clients, and opportunities already around them. We're here for the founder who's done apologizing for thinking local and is ready to make it her greatest advantage.

We pulled the receipts

Small businesses generate 44% of all economic activity in the United States, and Gallup research shows that 70% of American adults trust small businesses more than any other institution they track. Consumers trust local, choose local, and talk about local. McKinsey research shows that word of mouth drives 20 to 50 percent of all purchasing decisions and generates more than twice the sales of paid advertising. Ninety-two percent of consumers trust a recommendation from someone they know more than any other form of marketing. And 82 percent of small businesses say referrals are their single greatest source of new business. The case for building locally is data driven and we’re here for it.
